Sharon Bennett is one of the UK’s most respected and experienced aesthetic nurse practitioners, with over threedecades of expertise in non-surgical treatments. As Director of Harrogate Aesthetics and a recognised mentor in aesthetic practice, Sharon has played a pivotal role in shaping and elevating standards within the industry.

She serves as the Clinical Lead on the Editorial Board of the Aesthetics Journal and is a member of the Clinical Advisory Group for the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP). Her contributions to regulation and governance also extend to her previous role as Committee Lead for the British Standards Institute Non-Surgical Standards Committee.

Sharon is Chair of the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN) from 2014 to 2025 and a co-author of the BAMAN Competency Framework, which provides a benchmark for best practice in the field.

She is a UK Faculty and Country Trainer for Revanesse (Prollenium), an Advocate and Trainer for Nuceiva (Evolus) and a faculty member of Dermafocus. Notably, Sharon introduced Restylane, the first hyaluronic acid dermal filler, to the UK cementing her position as a pioneer in aesthetic medicine.
